Police are looking for a predator who they say slashed a woman’s neck as he attempted to rape her in Bushwick on Sunday.
The 25-year-old victim was at Wyckoff Avenue and Starr Street at around 5 am when the guy jumped her from behind, put a sharp object to her throat, and told her to bend over, cops said.
The woman struggled, yelled for help, and eventually broke free — finding refuge in a nearby store — but the attacker cut a 4-inch laceration her neck during the tussle, according to a police report.
The victim later went to Wyckoff Hospital, where she is now in a stable condition, authorities said.
Police describe the suspect as a 20 to 30-year-old man, standing 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, and weighing 170 to 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and red baseball cap, a long-sleeve black shirt, and dark pants, police said.
